As I mentioned before, art has been one of the biggest parts of my life since childhood. I drew, painted, crafted, went to Global Art classes for years, and I remember how in elementary school I really looked forward to art class. That continued throughout middle school and through 9th grade as well. As I am further into my high school years, art may not be a part of my school schedule but Sunshine Art Academy is so much fun to keep up my art skills And the best part is, I can teach young kids too!

During the summer of 2020 (yes, the COVID years) I began with a Summer Sunshine Art Camp, not knowing anything about virtual classes and just going with the flow. As the months went by, Summer Sunshine Art Camp blossomed into a more professional endeavor and here we are today with Sunshine Art Academy! We have expanded to an Academy with art classes virtually, in person locally, as well as more upcoming projects that I am so excited about!

It's definitely been a journey full of learnings and new skills, but it's my aim to keep improving and making these art classes and resources the best it can possibly be for all my artists out there. Yes, you!
